of Care and Quality of Life for People with Intellectual and Physical
Disabilities: Integrated Living, Social Inclusion and Service User Participation"
(DIS-QOL).
DIS-QOL will investigate the quality of care for people with disabilities
in regard to developments in social policy and typical examples of service
practice, but will focus also on the subjective experience of individuals
with disabilities within these frameworks..

Summary: Cronicity
of depression, quality of life and use of resources: 5 year follow-up.
The main objective is to know the cronicity of major depression in a
cohort of primary care patients who were initially diagnosed in 1998.
The patients were followed up during one year, being assessed at 6 week,
3, 9 and 12 months.

study that aims to know the perception of the elderly of their quality
of life and the involved main socio-demographic and health determinants.
- WHOQOL-OLD

Summary: International
project which has the objective of developing a questionnaire in order
to evaluate the quality of life of the elderly: "The measurement of
quality of life in older adults and its relationship to healthy ageing"
(WHOQOL-OLD). It is funded by the EC, with 23 participant countries,
and has the support of the World Health Organisation. The project has
a duration of 36 months (05/01/01-04/30/04). It's coordinated by the
University of Edinburgh (Prof. Mick Power (Edinburgh).
